I am having trouble getting the egr pipe off, can i use a length of hose small diameter and poke it down the tube as far as it will go or does it have to go deeper?

Mr Muscle Turbo clean quick question

I wouldn't risk it for a chocolate biscuit mate. You need to see the tube goes in the right direction as shown in the guide.
its easier if you take the exhaust off the turbo and go in from the back 
remove the exhaust from the turbo and take the gaskets off trace around the gasket on to some card and cut it out bigger then the gasket poke the three holes in then put it over the bolts on the turbo so it seals it
put the gaskets back on followed by some large nuts followed by the OE nuts to hold it all on poke a hole through the card insert some sort of pipe and go past the vanes and fill it up

How about take the turbo off strip it and put it back on. Mr Muscle might get it working for a bit but it's only a temporary measure.
