heater button fix/tidy up

hi all my heater buttons on my a4 are starting to look very very very worn and i spotted these on ebay i woundered if any one on hear has used these to fix the tired look of them?

I'm waiting for some for my A6 too. People have used them, the consensus seems to be they're 'ok'.

I got a set of those and they looked great at the time

Now a few months on and they have reacted with the plastic and looked crap

Save your money

i got just the + & - buttons for mine - looks better than they were. i'd certainly get some more if needed

Isnt there any paint available because Ive searched for some sort of paint for the soul black colour but have had no luck.

I have successfully used modelling paint by humbrol i will post the colour i use which is a very very close match

The colour i use is Matt 8 it's a matt black paint but they do loads of mat black paints! I tried them all to get a decent match, i also use a very fine brush to tickle it in

I fitted some of these too,they're OK but not amazing,also when you clean off the old rubberized paint try to keep to just the centre of each button as the replacements dont fit completely over the whole surface so you'll get a red/blue outline around each button (like mine)
