car nearly failed mot on high emmisions c02 , whats needed?

hi my car flew through the mot yesterday but had advisorys on front discs n pads , front arb links and the c02 was too high nearly a fail , he said the car smells too rich , what do you think it would need to bring this down? it has 2 lambna probes maybe 1 of them? which? or will it be something else?

Try some Cataclean for the emissions.

Run a vcds scan to see if any faults present with the fuel system, Air mass, lambda's etc.

What condition are the plugs in?

hi thanks for the quick reply , ive no idea what condition the plugs are in , ill look today and get some , thats my cheaper option , whats the best plugs to get?
