central elecs problem

Hi all. I had a ecu leak I've now sorted that an its dry inside now. But my dash lights and rear lights hazards an wipers are now flickering on and off. Ive been told it cud be the central electrics module. If I replaced this wud it need to be reprogrammed by audi or is it a straight forward swap? Or is it poss to salvage the old one?

Swapping over is easy, but yes it will require coding or else your current fob wont be locking or unlocking your car remotely. Anybody with the genuine VCDS can do it.
