HID's

They'll work fine but may throw up the abs warning lights.
What I've worked out - canbus error free or not, most a4's bring up the warning lights when switched on.
Just pot luck on the a4's.
Easy fix though to stop abs lights coming on once fitted. Bit of re-wiring to the headlight plug.

The lower the k the greater the usable light output, OEM are 4300k, I'd keep clear of 8000k myself.

in the comment in the ebay add is written that they send out 6000k bulbs , wich should be fine id say , dont want them too bright anyway.
Thanks for the comments guys

4300k were the standard xenon colour but most these days go 5000k like what I have on mine.

5000k is a nice crisp white light

I did read somewhere that as the bulbs burn in so to speak the colour temp actually goes up a bit?

I tend to fit 5000k ones now as you get a nice crisp white light and nice and bright without them being too blue.

They may also flicker a little when new for the first hours use and then settle without issue afterwards
