Hi lads im new to the site and looking for some help please.

As stated i have a 2001 b6 A4 on standard 16" alloys. Is the upgrade im looking at possible and if so is there any other mods i would have to make or anything else to consider?

Thanks

Martin

245/40 isn't a normal A4 tyre size, so it would throw your speedo out somewhat. Typical A4 offset is ET43-45, but they look best on ET30-35 so you'd need 20mm spacers. I'd look for some more suitable wheels if I was you, I doubt ET52 and 245 tyres would fit without spacers.

thanks for your reply
Yeh the wheels im looking at aren't from an A4 they are from new shape TT. If i got spacers would i still be looking at some problems? And like you said about the speedo is that down to going up from 16 to 18?
Also i have been looking at the A5 and A4 s line alloys they are 245/40/18 8.5j with a 29 off set would they also cause issues?
Also some adverts for these wheels have listed them as 8j 43 off set is that incorrect or is there variations in some of the wheel style sizes? thanks again and sorry for the pile of daft questions mate
