Hi, Newly purchased 2.5Q had some DTC's stored. I wasn't sure how long they had been there so I cleared the fault codes last week and gave the car a run for a few days and scanned again. Here is the list:

The alarm codes I am not phased by, I will be doing a siren battery repair on mine and my dad's S8 soon.

However, worryingly, some DTC's have returned that were there before I cleared them, all relating to the ABS module. Assuming this is duff ABS and needs replacing? Although, I have no MIL or ABS/TC dash lights on??

Some new codes had arrived too. Just my luck.

HOWEVER, under the drivers floor mat......the carpet is WET!!! So where would be the first place to look? I can't do anything until the weekend, when I will be doing a Mr Muscle job on the turbo anyway.

Any pointers on the above would be greatly appreciated. (I've taken on-board about comments in other post too)

Cheers,

Dan

Check the ECU seal around the ECU box if the carpet is wet on the drivers side.

As above but also remove all the relays, etc in the ECU box to check for corrosion as you have the classic water ingress faults ie comms lost

i agree i took 10 litres of water out of mine , the seat will have to come out , trims off and pull the carpet up to get wet vac in and then foot heater. fix seal first mine had fell into the car for some reason
