225 40 18 and 235 40 18 tire and esp question

guys was wondering if any of u guys think running this tire combo 225-40-18 on the front and 235-40-18 on the rear would trick the esp in to thinkings its needed as i don't want to buy tires for it to be activated all the time

any advice welcome

If your car is quattro then I wouldn't, if it's fwd it will be fine. Just keep the rolling radius of your new tyres as close to that of the originals and your speedo won't be far out - use a tyre calculator.

Nar managed to bag my self 4 225-40-18

I did same mate but the rears look to sit in too much. So looking in to 15mm spacers
