A4 head lights

Hi, sorry this is a bit of a boring subject but I'm hoping some one out there can help me.

Firstly I have a 2001 (newer shape) A4 1.8T sport and I think the head lights are crap for a modern car. So I've just purchased some Osram Silverstar bulbs but guess what... There a pain in the *** to fit.

I've been told the headlight unit has to come out, is this right?
Audi want to charge me £60+ to change them!

Any ideas???

They are not really too difficult to change and there are a number of guides floating round on the forums.

Probably take the average person an hour or so with a few tools to change the bulbs ..... much better than getting ripped off by a dealer.

Maybe an hour first time, after that about 10 mins a side, and only that long as you want to be careful not to scratch anything. Yes, it really is a doddle.
