Audi 1.8T Quattro Cab, 1st gear/Turning/Pulling away noise/rumble ?

Hi

I have had my new audi a few weeks now.
Its an 1.8T Quattro cab.

and these is something thats been niggling me,
never had anything like thi son my Audi S3.
Its been in the garage and had the front sus/sterring looking at.
but having driven it a bit more i think i have narrowed down the noise.

When i pull away, in 1st gear and i am turning, i get a rumbling noise from the back, either the wheels or something,
maybe 2, maybe 3 times rumbles.

Any ideas what this is ?

It's the quattro system. Mine does it too, also a 1.8t. Some say it's normal but I've read stories on changing the diff oil helps. It has been talked about a few times. Do a search on here and Google see what you come up with.
I'm sure mine is getting slightly worse with time tho. Been meaning to chance the oil for a while now too.

Hi guys,

I've also noticed the same problem. I've just had a full major service done and the noise has slightly improved, it's like a 2-3 small rumbles pulling in 1st and 2nd and when turning. I am quite worried about this noise. Have you guys had the oil changed and has it helped/cured the problem?
