any one fitted alloys 18x8.5 et of 29

hi chaps as title has any one fitted this off set of wheel to an a4 estate and had any issues , could any one tell me what the std et and width of the standard 17 inch 5 spoke alloys on my car:

I think standard et for alloys is35 so 29 may poke and you'd have to run strech probably bud.

I think the 17" Star design alloys are 7.5 or 8.0J and ET43 or thereabouts.

Needs 225/40/18 tyres, anything wider will rub with sport suspension.

I run 235's on 8.5 et35 - try falken tyres as below they're a narrower 235!
