2.5Q rear pads

Guys I've been looking at new pads on Eurocarparts and GSF. There are two thickness sizes coming up, 15mm and 17mm on both sites.

How do I correctly identify the thickness I need? The car is A4 Avant 2.5 Quattro 52 (2002) plate.

I noticed the same! - I will need to do my rear brakes on mine in the next few months.

I renewed the brakes (Brembo discs and pads) all round on my 2001 B5 2.5TDI quattro avant sport (AKN engine). I remember when I purchased the parts, the parts guy questioned ID for rear pads. Apparently the car uses a PR number (think its in the log book along with kit the car came with engine and transmission code, etc.) The choice was 1KD or 1KE. Mine were 1KD. I'm sure this will be similar for B6 model, but double-check with Audi parts if in doubt.

Many thanks. Just looked at my option codes, and I have 1KP which is the PR number for the thinner of the two pads. I'll go with those.

i just went to my local GSF and they got me the Brembo pads & disks, the was no questions, all was fitted without any issues.

We are going back a year or so but i think it was about £60 all in mate,
