When I use my screenwash after about a minute it really stinks badly, all I can say is it smells like cats pi##, any one else experienced this if so what is the best way of clearing the bottle out, or is it an easy job to remove and clean it all out?

Remove the passenger side wheel arch liner you will then get access to the pipes / pump so you should be able to drain the system. I use quantum screenwash, get it from TPS they always have offers on oil & screenwash. Link to TPS website Trade Parts Specialists
i had this problem on my old leon, i syphoned out what was in the bottle and pushed what was left in the pipes out by using the stalk till it was empty then refilled with fresh water and rinsed it through again was fine after that
Stagnant water, disgusting rotten stuff.
Audi flushed mine a total of 3 times and it smelt good as new, make sure you regularly use your screenwash to stop it going off.

Same happened to me last month - the smell was shocking!
I used the washers til it ran dry then filled up with fresh water, its been fine ever since.
Funny thing was, the previous time I filled up I used a little Mercedes branded screenwash - maybe it didnt like the car!

This is a common problem and its a culmination of two things that causes this to happen. Putting to rich of a mix into the washer bottle and then not using it quick enough. Using a reduced mix would help and using it more frequently would also help stopping it going stail.
Saying that, once the mix has gone stail then the bottle and accociated pipe work is already "infected" and to fully cure the problem everything should be cleaned out fully.
The best way to make sure is to strip it out and fully clean it but you can add vinegar to the system and run through a full washer bottle over the epriod of a couple of hours, luke warm water woudl also help this.
note: clearign out the stai lmix and refilling would make the smell go away in the short term but becuase the system as already been effected the smell return quicker if not fully cleaned out.

If u can bare the smell lol just keep spraying until empty and then refill with nice smelling screenwash
they do bubblegum vanilla and apple flavour in poundland - very good deal or u can getthe pink stuff from halfords
but yeah as others say try and clean it out first tthen refill

as said cleaning tablets for teeth or a few drops of bleach in to hot(not boling) water and run the hole tank though.
then run a tank of water again with a disinfectant like tcp. and then run two more tanks of fresh water.
this will kill all bacteria and the smell
but if your going to use bleach. remove the pipes from the sprayer and have the pipes drain in to a bucket. (drop the sprayers in to the bucket your draining into)
i had to do this on a car that had been sitting for ages. mine smelt like rotten eggs. after no smell

just do what i said, itll cost you less then £5 if you had to buy the bleach and tcp and itll work, your then have two house hild products that you will use else were

yes and no, its all down to how bad the smell is and how harsh you want to be with the bleach, i have drained my tanks before, dropped a good mug full in there, let it sit over night, then pumped it all through next day and washed off any that goes over the cars paint, then you can also add a drop of TFR into the mix to flush it out even more over the life of the water in the tank,
