Has anyone used these kits that pull the front bearing wheel out and push a new one in without taking the hub off the car? are they worth the money?

Thanks

Ian

is this made for the Audi?

as the bearings (yes theres two) are pressed on to the hub and the whole lot bolts in then I can't see them working

ok i get it i thought there was just one big bearing a bit like old school audi 80/90 etc

year there is actually two bearings and one is a different size to the other and the shaft on the hub is stepped too

In my experience I would buy the hub complete with bearing and replace the lot as one

are they quite simple to do? I think mine may need doing but I'm not sure if it's not just noisy front tyres.

I took mine out when I replaced the upright - I would say its straight forward yes.
The guide I linked to above has it pretty much spot on.

its a little fiddly but can easily be done

I replaced the bearing and holder rather then the whole hub and bearing next time I will be replacing the whole hub though

Oh my god AlexGSi what a find thank you so much
