Good morning,

i recently had rac out to check diagnostics after my brake lights were staying on all the time. Only fault code was brake light switch. after fitting two brake light switches, of which were the old type from Eurocar parts. They did not work. Rang audi to get some advice. I opted to buy a new switch from them in case I had two bad ones from euro. The audi one worked straight away even tho it was a new model. Now the brake lights are working fine with the new switch, however after a min driving get abs and traction dash lights come up, they reset if I turn engine off and on. My question is do I need to reset the original fault code. or am I just unlucky and had a abs sensor or something go directly after rectifying the original fault.

car- audi a4 cab b6 3.0 petrol.

thanks guys
