Hello all, in new to this forum as I am looking for people's advice on buying an audi a4 cabriolet. I'm looking pre 2006 so I believe a b6 model. I'm interested to hear which engine and gearbox people would go for before I start my search. Thanks in advance.

Have a search on here about engine choice, the cabs have more or less the same engine choices as normal A4s. Mine is a 2.4 V6 petrol, it's pokey enough for me and I get 24 mpg average. Heated seats are well worth it ! Opinion tends to be the 1.8T is the best engine, the V6 ones are quite heavy. Big thing with cabs is make sure the roof is ok and works properly. Fab cars tho ! I love mine.
