Boot eye level brake light

Hi there has anyone replaced there boot eye level brake light ?
might has died (cab) think it should be easy but thought i would ask here first

I can only speak for a saloon, but looks relatively easy in my opinion

yes i had mine out last night

take warning triangle out 2 screws behind it

1 screw under the small black plastic part you hold to close boot

pull the big carpet trim off

then you will see the 8 screws to get the light out

also are you sure its the light ? the break switch may be ******** yes it can just make the center light not work

also mine was playing up and i removed unplugged and cleaned the terminal up good as new now

Cheers mate , will have a look ASAP , no didn't think of the brake switch as both body lights work just the Center one has stopped working ,
Going to get volt meter on to it ASAP
