Illumination wiring

Looking to wire in an illumination wire to my aftermarket HU. Can I do this via the fuse box like the ignition live or can I wire it from the headlight switch?

Prob best off from the heater vents if there illuminated

Tell a lie my vents are illuminated. How do I remove them and which wire do I connect to?

You just need to get a hand underneath them to disconnect the plug, then they'll pry out.

Fuse 20 did the trick
