I noticed on another thread that a typical problem with Audi's is oil pump failure. As I'm new to Audi could someon please expand on this so I know what to look out for? Is it a problem for a particular type of engine etc?
Not so much on the b6, the 2.0 tdi on the b7 does have a bit of oil pump history, but with the 1.9tdi ive not heard of any fail, the 1.8t is prone to the oil pickup blocking but most change them or clean them as a precautionary measure
