Hi there,

My car has recently developed an issue with the ABS which is due to corrosion of the ABS rings due to age/wear and tear..

Does anyone know if the ABS rings themselves (the toothed rings that are on the end of the drive shafts at the front) can be purchased on their own or do they only come as part of the hub or drive shaft assembly?

Obviously I would imagine that if they only come as part of the drive shaft etc it would be considerably more expensive.

Any info would be much appreciated.

hi, not sure if you can get them separate for the audi's but ive fitted them to other makes of cars.
couldnt you get the cv joint instead of a full driveshaft?
one final thing, im not sure how corroded your joint is but in the past ive just got a wirebrush and managed to clean the grooves on the abs ring!
have you put a multimeter on it and made sure its the ring not giving the right signals?
