thought I'd share something I learnt the other day,
my brother crashed his s4 into the side of a range rover which pulled out on a roundabout on Monday. The airbags fired as did the pretensioners, he was only doing 25-30mph but has 6 broken ribs and has had his right collar bone pinned as it was smashed to bits.
I read up about the euro Ncap results for them and it says that the pretensioners that are fitted in b6's subject the chest and neck to more force in a normal road speed crash than hitting the steering wheel would!
