Brake servo...

Car has just gone for an MOT and has failed on the brake servo (I asked the guys to look at it as I had my suspicions).

It's completely rusted through and they've quoted £295 for the part plus 4 hours labour @ £55 per hour.

I'm sure I've seen a servo listed for much less that that before and was just wondering if anyone had any idea if that was correct?

sorry for the late reply.... just sen this, i think we paid around £180 for one for my sons A4 off ebay, brand new.... it was a pig to do though

My servo went kaput and I paid £35 off the bay.

The key is to look for passat servos too. Make sure part number starts with 8E0.
