Finally got an S4

These are great cars - much better than the S3.

I've just sold one of my S4 Avants to buy an S4 Cab - just as impressive.

S4 cab is great but never worked out why you dont get recaros (other than the fact they dont tilt forward); and it costs quite a lot more than the saloon.

Yeh, the seats thing is strange. The 'sports seats' in the Cab are very comfy but they are not Recaros.

The steering is also more direct in the Cab as well. Very refined at speed though and it doesn't feel any slower than the Avant.

I think it's simply coz the seats in a cab have to tilt and the recaro's don't/can't.

Probably; the bolsters would be physically too large I guess. Still a nice car though but very windy in the back!

I also wondered about the size of the recaro chairs as the cab is a tad narrower.

All four seater cabs are very windy in the back!
