Hi all is it possible to fit wing mirrors with the side repeater in them? and then blank them off in the wing etc?

Yeah possible on any car just a decent amount of time, effort and money which is why many don't. No idea on wiring.
So trying to remove wing mirrors I've removed the hex bolt from the unit but it won't budge any ideas a4 b6 1.8t cabrio
Not sure which screw in particular you are talking about (pics?) but maybe the mirror has been replaced before and they did it up too tight; lots of WD40 and gently tapping the screw with a hammer tends to work for me when things don't budge, if the screw head gets worn things get even more annoying/impossible so best not to go too rough if it can be avoided.
There's only 1 bolt I've removed it already as instructed by all the vids I've seen but no movement
