Rattling noise

Hi guys when iv got car in gear I'm getting a funny like rattling noise from middle of car area underneath it is a 18 t. Multitronic you can hear it more when at low speed and accelerating.when I stop and take out of gear it doesn't do it as much but if you rev the car it sound like something is vibrating.then put it back in drive and it starts making this noise again any ideas helpful thankshelpful thanks

Heat shields around the exhaust can corrode at the bolts that hold them in place. I stopped mine from ratting by putting a big washer in to give the bolt something to hold on to. Has been rattle-free for 6+ months so seems to have worked a treat.
