Can I have my parts back?

My car is going in for an insurance repair on back end, was wondering if I ask for my old bumpers back, will they give them to me?

as they dont have to get rid then just ask

Old parts become the property of the insurance company - It might be that the repairing garage are fixing your bumper rather than replace it, but it can't hurt to ask your Ins Co. before it goes in.

Im not going through my insurance, they have accepted liability, so going through there's,
It's a shame as there is hardly any damage, so someone could of had a bargain!

I have to drive round the back of a body shop at a filling station they have a skip full of hundreds of bumpers so surely they will just give them to you.
