different graded oil,in summer

Does anyone change there grade of oil in the summer?
Notice i get upto temp very quickly.

I wouldn't bother over here, i run 5/40 all year no issues in summer or winter

I assume your dash in your A4 will be the same as mine thus when you're saying up to temp you are actually referring to the temperature of your engine / coolant. Just because that is up to temperature doesn't mean that your oil will be! My last car had an oil temp gauge too and the engine itself was always up to temperature way before the oil was at it's optimum running temperature.
