710N Fitment

Guys can someone tell me where the DV is located on my 1.8T B6, is it the valve that is at the top on the left hand side of the engine, if it is, I noticed some oil residue in it?

also the new 710 I have to replace the old one has 3 connections, the thing I was looking at looks more like an oil breather.

I have serviced my own car so know what i am doing, but have read conflicting reports, the valve is best reached from underneath.

The only picture I can find is on audiworld

And this looks like the same area, but is for the B5 N75 not 710N.

Looking at it the N75 is another valve that is near the 710N

Does this diagram make sense? and is this roughly the same as mine?

Hello.
Take a look HERE. It should help.

If your car is a 190ps then it's at the bottom right. If it's a 163 then I think you can do it from the top. The DV isn't in that pic , that's the N75.
