Cabrio top is not secure

Hi Guys. I'm new to the forum and have had a number of problems come up recently but the one that bothers me just now is how to reset the roof to open/close rather than just showing the message "soft top not secure"

Sun had been a rarity in Chester up until recently and first day it showed, I tried to drop the top and it popped opened but didn't go any further!

I know there'll be a fix for this as my garage did it for me last year. I've seen an article on here on how to fix the motor (there's a fella in York apparently re-furb the motor) but I can't get into the boot!!

Your help would be very much appreciated as I don't fancy paying an hours labour for something I could do myself!

first off is get your owners book out and look for the manual reset (if no book google)
your key for the reset is behing the panal on the drivers side dash where the fuse box is

if that dont sort it get is scanned for fault codes.
