All front control arms replaced, front now sitting marginally higher??

Is this normal? Had all 8 front arms/2 drop links/2 tie rods replaced, and four wheel alignment done......Feels like a new car though

Not sure if it's normal, but good to hear it's much nicer. Mine is driving like a bag of nails at the moment, but I don't think my alignment was done well when I lowered it. I've also considered replacing all control arms etc to renew it all.

where the arms tightened with the car on the ground or on a a drive on ramp?? if not the bushes could be stressing whichmight cause it to sit higher

Dale, how much did you pay for all of the arms? If you don't mind saying.

mine are due, along with track rod ends and top mounts etc

I was going to suggest what Ian has.
Mine was the same to be fair - even though it was all tightened when the car was under load.

maybe that's how it was from the factory and everything has flopped as it's got older........... ooo errrr missus

Pretty sure the mechanic would've tightened up the correct way. Sitting maybe 10mm higher than I'm used to on the factory Sports suspension, probably is how it should be then?
