Just got myself an armrest for my A4 B6 as mine never had one, theres an electric wire and jack socket clipped on the upright part,,Any idea whats its for??

Ive read a tutorial but theres no mention of a wire.............puzzling

cheers

Ahh,now i see that tiny light:whistle2: nice one CHEZ.

One more question as my car came without a armrest is there likely to be a cable under the console to connect to it??

dont think so mate! from what i have read, you will need to wire it up from the ciggy lighter

Ok mate,if its there i'll connect it,if its not i can live without it.

Appreciated CHEZ:salute:

Yeap, just attach to any night illumination circuit like buttons etc in console, as you wont need in the day realistically as I did mine on our S4 years ago.

Away from the light i have successfully cut out the console ready to fit my new armrest as my car didn't originally have one,,it would be fitted now 'IF' i had the bottom bracket........Arghhhhhhhh!
Ive been in touch with the guy i bought it from and hes going to post it tomorrow,,now a waiting game:drag::motz:
