I have just bought an 02 identical spec, no sat nav, with lighting pack etc from Smith Knight Faye in Stockport dor £16995 with 38K miles and FASH in Silver.

So I would guess it's about right or maybe if it's a private sale then it's maybe over priced by about £1.5k going off normal retial to private price comparisons.

Fantastic car though. I'm waiting for mine to have it's quattro body kit fitted and fingers crossed collect it this weekend.

Look at the car below, you could add the new DVD nav for around £600.
I bet your mate has not been offered any more than £14k for that car.
