Bye Bye B6

Well after one repair bill too many, my 12 yr old B6 has gone to the great trade in in the sky.

I needed something with more room for the kids and the dog, and I didn't want to leave the VAG stable and wanted more toys so I plumped for a 2006 Mk3 Toledo Sport Tdi with the 140 bhp engine.

Here she is in all her, erm, "unique" glory, and yes I picked my brush up.

Immediate plans are-



newwheels for certain! These are too small and the colour is dull.



Frontsplitter of some kind (Cupra?)

Replace the goosed exhaust tips. Tried metal polish but they're well and truly goners.


and I've ordered a quick shift kit as recommended by an internet buddy.

Nice car that mate! Looks good in that colour. I recently helped a mate buy a Seat Altea (pretty much exactly the same car as yours but a bit smaller) and I thought it was a stonking good car, same 140bhp TDi which I was pleasantly surprised at how well it pulled! Felt a lot more lively than my car!
