Tyre Size

I am swapping my standard 17'' sport alloys from my 1.8T avant 2004 currently with 245/45/17 tyres with some OEM RS6 18'' 5 spoke.

I am unsure what size to go for, I am going to be fitting some TEIN lowered springs when I swap the wheels over but I am unsure on what size tyres to go for on the new 18'''s

I was thinking of going 235/40/18 all round but I have been offered a new pair of Yoko's 245 35 18 at a great price.

My thoughts where to fit those to the front and get 245 40 18 for the rear to create a very slight rake to the front.

What are your thoughts?

I personally would keep all 4 the same size especially if its Quattro but that's just me. Proper size is235/40/18

Its 2wd so I could do different if needed/wanted

i have 225/40/18 on mine as there cheaper and more available plus a slightly smaller sidewall!
