I am looking at upgrading my alloys (currently A4 sport 205/55/R16) to possibly a secondhand set of S4 alloys.

Is there any considerations I need to make to the jump from 16" - 18" or even 17".

Also, whats the most common way of increasing my bhp on a TDi 130?

S4 alloys will go straight on with no issues.

An ecu remap is the most cost effective power upgrade.

Cool, thanks...

Just had a quick look at the ecu remap thing.
Seems like a good idea. Any idea of how much you have to play with in regard to this? I am presuming that any change will have effects on either fuel economy or reliability or both. I guess I'm looking for the best of both worlds

sinbad - do a search for this info, you'll find a lot on remaps. If you drive like for like, remaps are often more economical. The majority of people on here and other Audi forums have remaps and reliability doesn't get mentioned much. Touch wood, I haven't seen any issues.
