throttle body location / removal on a4 b6 2.5tdi quattro

I have just cleaned the maf (wasent really that dirty) and now want to clean the throttle body as i dont think its been done before, cant seem to find it. 1) where is it? 2) best way to remove 3) do i need to disconnect the battery?
