Like a lot of other A4's, the small black triangular exterior C pillar trim has bubbles and flaked paint. I plan to repair these in situ due to reading wildly varying posts on ease of removal. I intend to paint them and was wondering how people prepped them? Did you find them easy to sand back? What did you use?

Id suggust rubbing down and Wrapping vinly over it,gloss or matt black.
Or even carbon

I went at it with the Dremel with a sanding roll attached, primed and painted black. Pics to follow

Right here goes

The finished article. I've gone for more of a matt finish at it matches the mirror surrounds, grilles, etc

Thanks

I got a replacement rear bumper off the bay and it came in enough bubble wrap to wrap an entire car, I've kept it for months waiting for it to come in handy and finally it has haha
