Stupid question here - but just want to make sure the car doesnt need a gearbox aswell as a clutch & DMF!

Car is a 2.5TDi Quattro Manual on 142,000 miles - iv known about the DMF being on its way out as it shakes the car on idle and shudders when on the bite point / letting the clutch out.

Its gradally been getting a little worse over the past few months - but now I have noticed it is harder to get into gear, with the odd crunch going into gear every now and again - would this be another symptom of the clutch being worn? - it doesnt slip.

I changed the gearbox oil about 30,000 miles ago for genuine stuff - it hasnt leaked any.

Worn pressure plate causing the clutch to drag?

Possibly, im hoping its clutch related anyway.
I have just booked into Unit 20 for it to be changed at the end of the month.
