Temp sender price ?

How much have people paid for a genuine temp sender from either tps or stealers?

my engine is awx 1.9tdi

also the price on a thermostat?

Temp sensor was about £35 inc the gasket, thermostat was about the same from memory, did both a few months ago on my 1.9tdi AVF.

bit steep that but then again it needs doing so guess il have to bite the bullet.

No probs, don't forget the coolant too, a bottle on concentrate was about £8 I think. Not a difficult job just a bit tricky getting access to bolts, clips etc.

Mine was exactly £38.90 with the rubber seal. This was two days ago

Just fitted a CTS to my 130 pd AVF, bought from darkside developments (ebay) £20 delivered. Cured the temp gauge fault nicely.

I've seen them ones mate, seem a little too cheap. Plus there's the chance it's the wrong one.
i get trade at CTS anyway so might just try them, then if Its wrong I can send it straight back.

il ring them up later and get a stat and sender for tomorrow.
