Antenna wire in n/side fornt footwell trim pane?????

Hi

I fitted RNS E over the weekend and in the process found some left over wiring abnove the glovebox and what looks like an antenna co-ax coming up into that area from the passenger front footwell?

My car had the tape deck (chorus II) and single aerial lead present behind the din cage.

Stupidly forgot to take a photo but will soon as.

Anyone any idea what it is for and could it be from a factory fit telephone or other aerial.

• probably just a aerial for a hands free kit, that's a guess without seeing
