02 Audi A4 TDi 130 - brake wear

All,

How can you tell id your disks are worn enough to replace? There is a small lip, maybe a mm or two on my disks and seeing as I need new pads I was wondering if I need new disks also?

A good lip or uneven wear would be enough for me.

But , the only real way would be to find out the minimum thickness and measure them with a micrometer.

On most cars the min' thickness is stamped on the centre of the disc. I'm sure VAG do this too
