How the hell do you change a rear bulb in the Avant (B6)?

Very useful handbook says it must be changed by an Audi dealer. Even by Audi standards this is ridiculous. Had a quick look in the dark and the light clusters are totally buried, so I really have to remove all the boot trim to get to the bulbs?

There is a cicle cut in the boot liner that can be flipped open. IN there is a bolt that I found can be undone using the locking nut for the wheels. Once that's out then the unit can be slid out. There are 2 or 3 little plastic snaps that just hold it in place and when pulled the who unit will come out. The bulbs can be access by removing the holder. two clips hold it in. I guess you may have sorted it by now. I did mine last night so thought I would add my two bit.
