Air bag light on dash

Can't remember...may have moved seat back on runner but air bag light is on.

Thinking i should check plug at under seat then perhaps take battery off - will this clear the fault 'air bag' on dash or is this likely to be more (sensor or something then needing vagcom to clear/reset)?

Any ideas, cant imagine the sensor's go faulty...more likely cable/push on clip has been disturbed surely?


Any help much appreciated if it saves a garage bill!

Prob under seat loom or connector.

if i push the connector on will this get rid of light on dash or do i need to dis-connect battery or have fault cleared (assuming it's just been disturbed)?

Prob best to clear but the dash light should go out I believe.

I think you need VCDS to clear
