safe mode???????????

Took my cluster out to clean,full of dust.
On putting back. Mileage reads fuse then safe and also wont start....arrrrhhhhh.

I take it you have tried unplugging and plugging back in, in case there's a bad connection?

Need to check fuses sounds like you've blown one

then check its plugged in right.

Im putting hand through the side by fuse box and wriggling. Lights gone on and off if wriggled hard. But keeps coming back on to safe mode where the mileage reads? Not saying fuse no more?
Turns over but just cuts out?

take them back out and refit plugs

Check one of the tiny pins on the back of the cluster haven't bent over and is missing the hole in the plug easily done if not careful

Will do. should also mention that the coil is flashing and handbrake as well as no lights working

No good all looks good. Getting a code 00474
cluster light up but not properly. As in ngt time

Did you dismantle the cluster to clean or just remove?

00474 - Control Module for Immobilizer

Sounds like its a communication problem with the cluster for sure

18056 missing drive train comms
18043 ac fuse
17978 immobilzer
18062 colant temp

All this in aid of abit of dust to clean inside cluster. And followed a how to.

I dont no where to start :-(
