Air intake

Noticed on my s-line, there is an air intake from the front grill into the airbox, obviously helping with drawing in cold air.

has anyone fitted a larger one to draw more air? any of the other VAG cars come with this? or possibly bigger versions?

not yet mate, waiting till next year once its been serviced again to make sure no warranty worries

The S4's have an additional intake that goes into the base of the airbox. It draws its air from just above the auxiliary radiator on the drivers side, so it is in a reasonable position as the air is forced into this duct from the front of the car.

You might like to consider this as an alternative to a larger intake at the top.
