Can't wait - had an S3 and was on this forum a fair bit a few years back but since then went sensible for a while with Astra sri 150 diesel....whilst wife drives my old golf gti lowered, remapped ko3
Anyway - the b6 is good spec - full leather, rear park sensors, 18" rs4 and had sludge work carried out....got caught out with that years back in a passat wagon!
Main point i noticed (barring finding out from previous owner if its had a cam belt) is replacing glove box lid - one arm holding is broken. Is there an easy fix - was thinking drilling with thin drill bit and using wire of is this a non starter?
Are they available from scrap yard, anyone have a decent audi parts specialist i can email (don't seem many B6 black ones on E-bay and they seem to fetch more than I'd have expected).
Remap wise - seem to go to around 220bhp but i guess it's the rise in torque thats key to driving experience - is it worth it from that point of view?
R-Tech mapped my gold but thats quite full on (though may be the suspension that gives this feeeling...) - whats the best re-map for these (without opening lots of debate) - angel tuning any good?
Any help much appreciated and looking forward to posting some pics at weekend (it's black so at 38 years old i'm hoping that spark for regular cleaning will come back....on top of all house hold jobs lols).
Cheers
