Hey guys,new owner of a awx a4 but have owned a few passats so am familar of there workings but have to ask this..is it normal for the engine to idle at 950 rpm.
is this normal

Mine idles around the same mate, just got vagcom today so ill scan mine make sure there are no codes, then ill know if its normal

Mines an awx ad yeah it's fine, mine has no codes eieither
cold start it jumps between 900-1100 for a minute but is fine

MIne ticks over at 860rpm checked by VCDS
its supposed to be set from 790 - 910ish according to VCDS

thats good to know that its normal idle,,just seemed a li bit on the high side after coming from a passat
