Can swap folding mirrors from my friends car - has anyone ever done it?

Is it easy to swap full mirrors with motors and the switches etc...

Yes. not to tricky.
you need new mirrors, new switch and new door controllers.
swap them and that's it. No coding just plug and play

Well I have another a4 with power folding mirrors, my own Quattro doesn't have them so thinking of swapping them over

I hope it's simple enough - going to attempt it over the weekend.

You also need to swap the door controllers and switch.

No, not the s4 one but I have a black optics pack s-line grill.

on the door. behind the door card where all the wires go. can't miss them
