Side Airbag Removal and Refit

Hi All,

Anyone got access to instructions on how to remove and replace the Side Airbag on an Audi A4 B6 or similiar car?

Need to replace mine...looks fairly easy but just don't know how much of the seat has to come apart!

Yup...igniter is faulty...got a new bag ready to fit...looks fairly simple but easier with a guide or instructions

ill find you the guide but its realy back of seat off then you can see what your doing

did you try the wireing mod ?
or has the bag gone off ?

Yeah if you could get the guide...

Have the back off and see the air bag bolted in, so release those two bolts and try and unfeed the wiring harness...

Wiring mod already done properly with VW spec stuff....so next step is bag itself....

The bag has the right connectors on direct to the floor so will test it first just connected to the floor plug before taking old one out incase it's not that at fault....

~I also have electric lumber support so theres motors etc in the way so not sure if they have to come out as well you see!

Cheers no need now, unless you really want to post it for others, but air bag been replaced at BVR Automotive and light now all sorted...lets see if it really is!

Anyone got a guide to remove that side airbag plz.... I got code short to ground and want to check all wiring in thw seat.
