Hi,

I'm currently running a set of 19" Sportec Mono 10s on my S4 but am looking to change to some of the 7 spoke RS4 ones. I've found some new ones that are 19" but 8J instead of 8.5J.

I'm just wondering if I'll have any issue with taking the tyres (235/35/r19) from my current set and sticking them on this set if they are narrower?

Anyone happen to know? I presume they'll just look a little fatter but will it affect the ride at all?

Cheers
Andy

I doubt the width would make much difference. Do the wheels have the same offset. This can make a difference to how the car feels.

The current ones are ET35 I think (will go double check) and the new ones are ET45.

So there narrower and they will poke more inwards by 10mm. This will make the car handle different. If you want it to feel and look the same I'd recommend 225/35-19 tyres and a 10mm spacer.
The tyres will prob be fine in all honesty as there is very little difference in wheel width.
